Wouldn’t it be great if you could get the same quality music on a normal radio that you expect from CD’s, MP3’s and satellite radio? Now you can, and just like you would expect from broadcast radio, it’s absolutely free! More and more stations are getting on the HD bandwagon. (There are even a few in my neck of the woods, which is pretty amazing, considering.)

Each and every day there are new country music stations, rock stations, Christian stations and stations in just aout every other genre you can think of going digital. You can gt stations all over the country, even Florida High Definition Radio stations and stations in little North Texas towns like mine. (We get the best concerts, though! Gotta love a military/college town!)

Another great thing about HD radio is tht with a compatible tuner you can use iTunes tagging. This means that if you like a song you can just tag it for purchase later from the iTunes store. (Of course, since I’m giving away my iPod, this isn’t going to help me any!)

Up until now I’d been considering going with satellite radio, but now I think I’ll stick with the kind of music I don’t have to fork out a monthly fee to listen to. Free is good. I like Free.
