I will happily entertain all inquiries regarding advertising on Cooking, by the seat of my Pants, that fall under the following guidelines:

• Your product or service must be of some use to the primary audience of this site.  In case you haven’t actually bothered to read the work published here, that would be items or services related to food, cooking and topics that would interest the home or professional cook.  Offers for ads not related to these topics are very likely to be politely rejected, but feel free to ask.  It doesn’t hurt, and there’s a good possibility that if it strikes my fancy, there are people reading this blog that will find it interesting as well.
• If your content matter is adult in nature or for any type of medication, please, don’t waste my time or yours.  I will summarily reject 99.995% of anything related to medication and 100% of all adult inquiries. You have been duly warned.
• Ads must be tasteful and unobtrusive. Mega-production multimedia ads are not welcome in almost all cases, nor are ads that change color a thousand times or otherwise detract from the content on this site.  I will happily take eye catching advertisements that fit in with the subject matter so long as they do not conflict with the previous points.

  • 125×125px box ad in right column: $25.00 per month or $250.00 per year
  • 125×125px box ad in slots 1 and 2, non rotating (always on) $50.00 per month or $500.00 per year
  • 300×250px box ad in right column: $100.00 per month or $1,000.00 per year
• Other forms of Advertising:
  • If you require some other form of advertising, such as RSS feed ads or just something I have not mentioned here, please feel free to contact me with your desired ad-type and I’ll be happy to consider it.

Cooking… by the seat of my Pants! receives thousands of visitors and tens of thousands of page views per month from real live people who are interested in food and cooking.  Advertising here places your message in front of a very large audience from all walks of life for less than a penny per person, even at the largest ad size.

If you would like us to review a cookbook or food and cooking product or service, we would be happy to discuss it with you.  Please note that any review that I give will be completely honest, so if I like it, I’ll say that I do.  If I feel that there is something lacking in a product, I’m going to say so.  My readers expect my honest opinion and that is what they’re going to get.

Please also note that it may take some time for me to get to a review.  I run several blogs and am active in many places.  Sometimes things sit for a while before I get to them. Also note that if you would like something reviewed, getting said item to me is your responsibility.  If you would like it returned when I’m done, that is also your responsibility.
