Advertising on blogs is becoming an Internet phenomenon.  It’s a fantastic way to attract visitors to your products, because they’re reading about them from people that they trust and respect.  I know that there’s some debate on the topic of blog advertising, especially from the Google crowd, but I wanted to let you, as business owners, hear what those of us in the blogging world have to say about this subject.

The short of it is this…  If we had more of the products we know and love available to advertise, we’d go with those over anything else.  It’s that simple.  I would love to find more opportunities to blog about food related topics, especially if I have the chance to supplement my income by a bit while I do it.  I’m a foodie, I use these products every day.  I can help, and so can my fellow food bloggers.

The problem is, most companies that offer products and services that we’d love to wrte about have nothing to do with blog advertising.  That leaves us as food bloggers to write about topics we’re not as comfortable with and in many cases don’t have anything to do with our subject matter.  This needs to stop!

You can cash in on our passion, but only if you make the opportunities available to us.  Trust me, we’re itching to take the time to write intelligent and positive reviews of your products.  Reviews that are guaranteed to gain you new customers.  Reviews that will show a ROI like nothing you’ve experienced before.  But we can’t do that if you don’t let us.

All you have to do is sighn up as an advertiser at SocialSpark.com andpost a food related ad.  Trust me, we’ll be all over it.  Of the three I’ve done in my time on this blog, I can guarantee that I’ve sent at least 100 people to each and every product I’ve reviewed.  I can’t guarantee that all 100 people have purchased, but my affiliate numbers show that at least some of them did.

Yes, I was paid to post this. But the fact is, I’d rather be writing about a new knife line, a cookbook or a set of stainless steel cookware. These are the things that I live for. These are the stuff of my dreams and that passion shows when I write about them. The same holds true of my brothers and sisters in the food blogging world. We’re a workforce that is, as of yet, completely untapped. And we don’t tend to charge all that much.

Can you really afford to mis out on this advertising revenue?
